UV-protective glazing can help reduce exposure to ultraviolet radiation, but no glass can make artwork completely immune to fading or environmental damage.
Light exposure still matters.
A framed piece that receives strong direct sunlight every day faces different conditions than one displayed away from a bright window. The artwork or material itself matters as well, which is why glazing should be considered as one part of a larger preservation plan rather than a complete solution on its own.
